The LPA1E printed circuit board terminal
uniquely combines the advantages of the
elastic press-fit technique and the screw
connection of the conductor:

Easy, low-cost installation
Helps avoid soldering problems (bridges)
with a high density of connections
Fully automatic component insertion in
the printed printed circuit board on one
or both sides
No pollution due to solder and cleaning
agent vapours
An elastic press-fit pin to DIN 41611,
Part 5, together with with the proven
Weidmüller clamping yoke system makes
the reliable connection the conductor and
the printed circuit board.
The elastic Varipin press-fit profile used,
has already proven itself in various uses
with DIN connectors. It offers considera-
ble advantages over comparable rigid
press-fit pins:
Low press-fit force
Low deformation of the plated contact
hole
low loading of printed circuit board
Durable spring action for reliable
contact
Non-critical tolerances of the metal-pla-
ted holes in the printed circuit board
Plastic pegs on the terminal base also
provide for firm seating on the printed cir-
cuit board.
