Applications
Ultra-high-shrink-ratio, heat-
shrinkable tubing, with
expansion ratios as high as
8-to-1, is designed to con-
form to odd shapes and
shrink over large transitions,
allowing for the repair and
sealing of cable connectors
and equipment. Cable
harnesses can be repaired
and released without
disassembly. This product
can be used to seal the
back end of a connector or
simply repair a damaged
outer insulation of a cable
or wire.
URHT tubing is available
with or without a hot melt
adhesive lining.
Installation
Minimum shrink
temperature: 135°C [275°F]
Minimum full recovery
temperature: 150°C [302°F]
Operating Temperature Range
-55°C to 135°C
[-67°F to 275°F]
