Product Lineup
This 3-position connector
was developed from the
Dynamic Connector 5200 as
its basis to realize low-cost
30 A class power distribution
for FA equipment. The exist-
ing contacts can be used,
which means the existing
production method such as
crimping tools or automatic
machines can be utilized
without any change.
Support for Obtaining UL,
TV Approvals
It is more favorable to
obtain UL and TV
approvals with this connec-
tor than with metal connec-
tors because of the
following reasons:
Made of Plastic
Because of the plastic con-
nector, ground wire at
power supply is not neces-
sary. This simplifies wirings
of FA equipment and leads
to lowering the total cost.
Sequential Structure
A sequential structure is
designed so that the ground
wire is always electrically
connected before power
lines.

robustness. Connectors
made of metal have a very
high performance level.
However, connectors
made of metal are more
costly than connectors
made of plastics.
Tyco Electronics has
added a cable clamp
function to the existing
Dynamic Series. With
this new design, the
robustness of Dynamic
Series connectors made
of plastic has been
improved remarkably.
This lower cost connector
can contribute to the total
cost reduction of end
products.
The ground mark is
embossed on the
connector housing so
that operators can see it.
