Many pieces of FA
equipment are produced by
assembling sub-units with
divided functions in the final
assembly line. Power for
each sub-unit of conven-
tional equipment is
branched from the power
supply bus line over a
printed circuit board. In
order to save valuable
printed circuit board space,
Tyco Electronics has
developed Dyna-Tap
Connectors from which
power can be tapped
without printed circuits.
Dyna-Tap Connectors are a
part of Dynamic Series,
which are developed as
power supply connectors.
Dyna-Tap Connectors are
optimized for branching
power from the power sup-
ply bus line.
In order to cope with three
power systems, which are
the most popular in the
industry, 6-position connec-
tors are specified.
Product Lineup
Free-hanging type and
panel mount type are
available. The part number
of the mating connector is
