Appendix A: ASP1400 Serial Interface Connections
The serial connector of the interface cable is a 9-pin female D-SUB connector and can be
connected to any standard COM port (9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, no
protocol). However, only three lines are necessary for communication. These are:
Pin 5:
Signal Ground GND
Pin 2:
Receive Data RxD (to TxD of system COM port)
Pin 3:
Transmit Data TxD (to RxD of system COM port)

Appendix C: ASP1400 Command Summary
The following section summarizes the commands available to use the ASP1400. Each
command (except command S‘) has to be confirmed by the Enter-Key and will be
prompted from the system by an OK‘ after execution of the command.
_ VER
gives the ASP1400 software version
_ GET
starts single measurement
_ GO
starts continuous measurement
_ S
stops measurement (no Enter-Key required)
_ RES=0 … 9
sets the resolution
_ MOD=F/T
sets the output of differential pressure (F) or temperature (T) units
_ DEFSPI=P/G SPI output in push (P) or get (G) mode
The input of the command is not case sensitive. Refer to the datasheet for more complete
details on each command.
