Scotch ? High-temperature Masking Tape 214 is good for one hour at 350°F (177°C)
on most surfaces. The adhesive is sulfur-free which makes it one of the few tapes
that can be used on copper, silver and other precious metals.

Application Ideas
? Has excellent stain resistance.
? Adhesive is very firm and allows it to be used on most treated metals.
? Scotch ? Tape 214 complements Scotch ? Tape 213 in high temperature masking
tape usage and should be evaluated at the same time.
? Will generally withstand bake cycles up to 350°F (177°C) for one hour – even
on treated metals. Performance is governed by total time, temperature, surface
tape is applied to, and any other coatings and conditions.
? Should not be subjected to outdoor exposure or prolonged periods of sunlight
exposure as tape may become very difficult to remove.
? Can be used in a wide variety of high heat, treated metal, and stain resistant
applications. It is generally considered only when one of these factors is a problem.
